I've joined Kroger as a Data Engineer/Data Scientist in the Fulfillment Services Department on the AI/ML Team! I cannot overstate my excitement about this opportunity and look forward to all that we can accomplish as a team in the coming months!
I enjoyed my time so much at Flatiron as a student - I really meant it when I said it was bittersweet to leave! So - I also accepted a part time role as a Technical Coach for the Data Science students at Flatiron School - going through the same rigorous course that I did! It is something that I really enjoy doing as I remember being in the same position the students are: frustrated, confused, and unsure how to move forward. Helping them get to those "ohhhh!" moments when it finally clicks or they get unstuck is so rewarding.
